• Payment data: processed by our payment provider. We receive limited transaction details (such as plan, country, and the last digits of your card) but never your full card number.

To provide and maintain the Service; process subscriptions; personalize and improve the product; send service and billing notifications; provide support; detect fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Service providers we share data with

We share only what is necessary with processors that help us run AltTerminal, including our payment provider (payments and Merchant of Record), our hosting and database provider, our product-analytics and transactional-email providers, and the AI provider that powers analyst briefings and chat. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and, where you consent, analytics cookies. You can control non-essential cookies via the cookie banner.

6. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion (see Section 8).

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Payment-card data is handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment provider and never touches our servers. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

Depending on your location (for example, GDPR/UK GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact support@altterminal.com.

9. International transfers
