1. Who we are

AltTerminal ("AltTerminal", "we", "us") operates the website altterminal.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What AltTerminal is — and is not

AltTerminal is a market-analysis and intelligence platform. It aggregates technical, seasonal, macroeconomic, and sentiment data into bias scores and analytical context to support your own research.

AltTerminal does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. We do not issue buy or sell signals, set price targets, manage funds, or recommend any transaction. All scores, data, and AI-generated content are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. Trading carries substantial risk of loss.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@altterminal.com of any unauthorized use.

5. Plans, trials & billing

• Plans: Core and Edge, billed monthly or annually. Annual plans are charged at ten (10) times the monthly rate (two months free).
• Free trial: New users receive a 14-day trial with full Core access. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
• Trial conversion: Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your subscription automatically continues on the Core plan at the then-current price. You may instead choose Edge; if you select Edge during your trial, Edge features unlock immediately while your trial remains free, and Edge billing begins when the trial ends.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• Plan changes: Upgrades (e.g., Core to Edge) take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
• Price changes: We may change prices; changes apply to billing periods beginning after we notify you.

6. Payments — Merchant of Record

Our order process and payments are handled by our authorized payment provider and Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, you are purchasing from our payment provider, while the Service itself is licensed to you by AltTerminal under these Terms. The provider handles billing, applicable taxes, payment-method data, receipts, refunds, and chargebacks, and your purchase is also subject to the provider's buyer terms and conditions. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. If you cancel during a trial, you will not be charged. If you cancel a paid plan, your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law. 8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell or redistribute the Service or its data; scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the platform; share your account; or use the Service unlawfully or to manipulate markets.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, scoring methodology, and aggregated outputs are owned by AltTerminal or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

10. Third-party & market data

Market data, economic releases, and positioning data are sourced from third parties and provided "as is". We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and are not liable for errors, delays, or omissions in such data.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AltTerminal is not liable for any trading losses or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we will revise the "Effective date" and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. We will try to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation first. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer-protection rights that apply in your country of residence and cannot be waived.
