Refund Policy

1. Payments and refunds
Our order and payment process is conducted by our authorized payment provider and Merchant of Record. The provider handles customer payment inquiries and processes refunds. If you have a payment issue or wish to request a refund, please follow the support link on your receipt or contact us at support@altterminal.com.
2. Free trial
We offer a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate AltTerminal before paying. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription automatically continues on a paid plan (see the Terms of Service).
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account; your access continues until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial or unused billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
4. Discretionary refunds
Outside of statutory rights, refunds are granted at the discretion of our payment provider (acting as Merchant of Record) and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as usage and the reason for the request. Approving one refund does not obligate future refunds.
5. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within a set period (for example, 14 days in the EU/UK). Note: for digital services made available immediately, this withdrawal right may end once you begin accessing the Service, where you have consented to immediate access. These statutory rights are unaffected by this policy.
6. Faulty or misdescribed service
This policy does not limit your rights regarding a Service that is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose under applicable law.
